Hi old entries. HIIIIIIIIIII! *waves*

Wow, that was faster than I expected. As of about 6 minutes ago (according to my inbox notification), all my entries from LJ have been imported over to my Dreamwidth account. And with all my privacy settings too, so I don't have to worry about redoing it myself like I did when I originally made my LJ friends-only. I'm officially impressed. Next step: making a back-up file of my LJ entries onto my laptop.

While I won't be completely jumping ship from LJ (all my communities are over there), I think Dreamwidth and I will get along just fine. =)

Because I'm getting really fed up with LiveJournal right now...

And because Dreamwidth is being really nice by dropping their invite code-only policy for the moment, I've decided to check this site out. I'm also planning on importing [livejournal.com profile] rfmadison and the few entries I have from there. I suspect that'll take less time than the entries over at [livejournal.com profile] amimichiru.

We'll see how this goes for now. But first, sleep.

Edit: Maybe it's because I'm using Chrome or because I normally use Semagic for my posts, but did LJ's post format change, too? So weird.

Edit #2: Apparently LiveJournal now allows all users to edit their comments? On the one hand, I've wanted that feature for awhile and now I don't need to pay to get it, which is nice. On the other hand, I still miss the "preview" button. Hmm...
